The Kitzbüheler Horn mountain is a true paradise in winter. Skiers and snowboarders love to come here to enjoy the best groomed slopes you’ll find anywhere. However, the Kitzbüheler Horn is a popular holiday and excursion spot in summer as well.

A sporty summer weekend

The most legendary sports town in the Alps is also legendary in terms of the variety of sport it offers. May we suggest a few options to you?
Would you like to get a little closer to heaven with a romantic picnic for two at the top of the Bischof mountain?
How about exploring the world of golf during an afternoon on one of Kitzbühel’s four golf courses – and then enjoying some of Kitzbühel’s culinary delights and the town’s legendary nightlife?
KITZBÜHEL – THE LEGEND … in so many ways!

Family excursion

Feel like going on holiday with the family?
Why not have fun with the whole family in Kitzbühel and enjoy a holiday with your kids?

When you visit the Aurach Wildlife Park, you and your family will be able to experience animals up close. You can also go for a hike through the woods and across meadows in the valley – and after that take some time just for yourselves while the kids have fun and are taken care of in the Kitz4Kids programme.

That’s how a family holiday works in Kitzbühel.

A summer weekend

Kitzbühel is not only a hiking paradise; it’s also the golf centre of the Alps.

One day you’re playing a round of golf at the Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith Golf Club, surrounded by majestic mountains and marvelling at the spectacular view – and the next day you’re right in the middle of those same mountains, enjoying a magnificent hike in the grass-covered mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps.

Mountain biking above Kitzbühel

The grass-covered mountains outside Kitzbühel are like a second home to mountain bikers, while leisure bikers cruise comfortably along pleasant trails following rivers and streams.

Kitzbühel then and now

Take a nice relaxing walk on the Bichlalm for a couple of hours and enjoy the view of Kitzbühel. Then stop in to visit the Kitzbühel Museum while you’re strolling through the Kitzbühel town centre. Indeed, picturesque landscapes are to be found in the paintings of Alfons Walde as well!

A winter’s day

Enjoy an experience you won’t soon forget: snowshoe hiking offers a unique combination of nature, peace and quiet, sport and relaxation.
When you combine snowshoe hiking with winter hikes along our cleared paths, and a round of Alpine Curling with friends, you’ll realise just what a wonderful winter holiday you can enjoy – even away from the slopes.
Simply unwind, relax and enjoy nature in its wintry beauty.

Off-piste with professionals

The legendary Franz Reisch skied on the Kitzbüheler Horn mountain as early as 1893. There were no lifts or slopes back then, of course, which means the skiing pioneer was also the first ski mountaineer and freerider in Kitzbühel.
Much has changed since then, but a few things remain the same – the beautiful surrounding nature, the mountains and the fascination of being the first to leave your marks in the deep snow on an untouched slope.

An eventful day of sport

I really feel a need to write this brief description of my weekend in Kitzbühel with Nicole because it was simply an unforgettable experience!

I actually never would have believed that you can really ski 180 days a year in Kitzbühel.

Shopping and relaxation

The shopping trip through Kitzbühel town centre wasn’t really all that exhausting and hectic – but your body and soul are nevertheless screaming at you to get out into nature, feel the fresh air and snow, and do something physical.
The time is right for a cross-country skiing tour just outside of Kitzbühel.
